Noob Incremental Factories Guide
Guide checked 2026-07-10 · Official-source review
Learn how Noob Incremental Factories merge, how many Tier 1 units each Factory tier requires, and which boosts to preserve for progression.
Quick answer
Factories unlock in the Prestige 3-4 route and passively generate Tier 1 units that merge into higher tiers. Do not merge every lower tier away: each Factory tier supplies different boosts, so preserve enough units to reach its cap before pushing higher. A Tier 7 Factory represents 15,625 Tier 1 units, but balanced lower tiers are often more valuable than one premature maximum merge.

How Factory merging works
Tier 1 Factories generate passively, and Cash upgrades increase that generation. Five units of one tier combine into one unit of the next tier, so every high-tier Factory represents a large number of Tier 1 units.
Each tier boosts a different set of stats, including Oof, Fire, Cash, Blaze, Prism, Bread, Coins, mutation luck, Rune Bulk, Rune Speed and Rune Luck. The correct goal is a balanced boost profile, not simply the highest visible Factory tier.
Factory conversion table
Because the conversion cost grows fivefold at every tier, max-merging can erase several useful lower-tier caps. Check every boost before confirming a large merge.
- Tier 2 requires 5 Tier 1 Factories.
- Tier 3 requires 25 Tier 1 Factories.
- Tier 4 requires 125 Tier 1 Factories.
- Tier 5 requires 625 Tier 1 Factories.
- Tier 6 requires 3,125 Tier 1 Factories.
- Tier 7 requires 15,625 Tier 1 Factories.
Factory priorities by Prestige
The official route starts by maxing the Rune-related boosts in Tiers 3, 4 and 5. Tier 2, 4 and 5 Cash bonuses then support upgrade-tree spending. Tier 6 becomes important for Prism, while Tier 7 supports mutation luck and late-game Coins.
The guide recommends waiting until around Prestige 6 before committing heavily to Tier 6 and 7. Prestige 7 also needs the Tier 1 Oof boost and balanced Oof multipliers in Tiers 4 and 5.
- Early: protect Tier 3-5 Rune and Cash boosts.
- Prestige 6: develop Tier 6 and its Prism multiplier.
- Prestige 7: restore Tier 1 Oof and balance Tiers 4-6.
- Late game: build Tier 7 mutation luck and Coins without deleting earlier caps.
Safe merge routine
- 1Inspect the boost and cap shown under every current Factory tier.
- 2Keep enough of each lower tier to preserve its useful capped bonus.
- 3Merge only the surplus into the next tier.
- 4Rebalance after a Prestige or when the active bottleneck changes.
- 5Increase Tier 1 generation with Cash before attempting a long high-tier build.
Frequently asked questions
When do Factories unlock?
Factories are introduced during the Prestige 3-4 route.
How many Tier 1 Factories make Tier 7?
The official guide lists 15,625 Tier 1 Factories for one Tier 7 Factory.
Should I use max merge?
Usually not. Preserve enough lower-tier Factories to keep their useful stat caps before merging surplus units.
Which Factory boosts should I get first?
The official route prioritizes Rune boosts from Tiers 3-5, then Cash, Prism and later mutation-related boosts.
Do Factories help after Prestige?
Yes. The official progression guide describes Factories as persistent support that helps recovery across later Prestiges.
